Happy closing (tomorrow) to this remarkably talented cast, crew and production team. What a joy it’s been to bring this beloved classic to life and witness the joy it’s brought to so many! It will be a hard one to top.

While we’re on the topic, what are your suggestions for our 2027 musical? It’s gotta be GOOOOOD because next summer is our 50th anniversary season!!! 🎉

Melissa Aliotta’s in the house all the way from NEW YORK!

Bio: Melissa Aliotta is thrilled to be joining the Pickleville Playhouse family this summer for the first time! She is a New York based singer/actor/dancer and a graduate of Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Her most recent acting credit was playing Sally Brown in A Charlie Brown Christmas with Gershwin Entertainment. Melissa has performed at famous NYC venues such as 54 Below, Don’t Tell Mama, and Symphony Space. Outside of performing, she also has directed multiple touring children’s theater productions, is a staff member at Broadway Artists Alliance, and has choreographed middle school student productions. Melissa is so grateful to have the opportunity to work with this amazing company and crew.

Shout Out: Shout out to my parents, family, and friends! Thank you for always encouraging my passion for theater and for being my biggest fans.

Fun Fact: I have seen over 35 Broadway shows in New York City!

To know Mary Davis is to be absolutely OBSESSED!

Bio: Mary is THRILLED to perform at Pickleville Playhouse for another summer! Mary’s peers describe her as energetic, funny/off putting on occasion and overall a good time. If this whole theatre thing doesn’t work out, she envisions herself working at a zoo of some sorts or doing trapeze. Mary loves Pickleville for its beautiful surrounding country, its genuine appreciation for comedy, and the community of talented, hardworking, kind people.

Shout Out: Shout out to my mom and dad for being so awesome, my older sister, Grace, for being so supportive, and my oldest sister, Julia, who pursued theatre first and likes to say “I invented you”.

Fun Fact: When I was 19, I choked on an apple slice in the dining room of my grandma’s retirement community. My sister, Grace, saved me with the heimlich. !

She may be tiny but she packs a punch — Emma Kate Leishman, everybody!

Bio: Emma is so stoked to be back in her home state after 3 years away performing with Disney in Florida and Hawai’i! She cannot wait to share the stage with her soul sister, Jaycee and add even more people to her theater family. Emma is excited to start her Pickleville journey and cannot wait to see where life takes her!

Shoutout: Shout out to my deleishous fam and my sweet kiddos Jaycee and Peyton! Sure love ya!!

Fun Fact: Josh Groban gave me a hug.
