Rest in peace, Suzanne, my creative soul sister. 💔 Thank you for the many years of friendship, support, and laughter.

The studio won’t be the same without you. We’ll miss your laugh, your snazzy outfits, your colorful tattoos, and the whimsical art projects that were so wonderfully you. Most of all, we’ll miss your friendship.

You brought so much color to our lives, and I’m grateful for the years we shared. Rest easy, sweet friend. You are loved, and you will be deeply missed. 🕊️

🎨 Let’s make it a crafty Saturday!

Creative Sol Makery is open today from 12–5, and Open Studio is ready for you! Stop in, bring a project or choose something from the shop, and spend a little time creating. We have lots of beautiful new products and supplies for you to discover and try!

While you’re here, don’t forget to sign up for our upcoming Decorative Art Risers Workshop on Tuesday, September 29 from 6:00–9:30 p.m.

You’ll create a coordinating trio of small, medium and large risers using paint, decoupage, layered details and embellishments.

Love the dreamy bird theme shown in our sample? You can recreate it! Want something completely different? You’ll be able to choose from many of our other gorgeous decoupage papers and create a theme that fits your own style. You are not limited to the bird design!

And because crafting is even better when food is involved…

Creative Sol Makery is filling the calendar with creative workshops designed to fit more schedules! Join us on Sunday afternoons or choose from Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.

We’re planning projects for all the cozy and magical seasons ahead:

Most workshops are reasonably priced at just $25–$30, and every class includes all supplies and materials needed to complete your project. Just bring yourself—we’ll handle the creative goodies!

And because creating is even better with something delicious nearby, prepared food is always included with every workshop. Depending on the class, you might find charcuterie spreads, sandwich wraps, assorted savory pastry bites, desserts, refreshments, nuts, candies, and more. We’ll make sure there’s a little something for everyone!

Whether you’re an experienced maker or someone who simply wants a fun, relaxing outing, our workshops are a wonderful way to learn something new, meet other creative people, and leave with a finished project you’ll be proud to display.

Never underestimate an old, boring frame. 👀

This is exactly why I love IOD Moulds so much. That perfectly ordinary brown frame had good bones…but not a whole lot of personality.

Add some castings from our IOD Moulds, a little creativity, paint, metallics and some Creative Sol magic…and LOOK AT HER NOW. 😍

Those beautiful dimensional details completely transformed the frame and turned it into something worthy of the artwork inside. Instead of the frame simply holding the art, it became part of the art.

And here’s the best part: you can do this too.

🖤 A little Saturday morning beauty from the studio… 🖤

She’s moody, romantic, beautifully unconventional—and available. 🌺✨

I’ve been playing around with different frames for this beauty, trying to decide which one feels like it was made for her. This is part of the fun for me. The artwork is only the beginning—the right frame, finish and details can completely change the personality of a piece.

She’ll soon be joining the collection of one-of-a-kind gallery pieces available at Creative Sol Makery, with beautiful artwork in all different sizes—from smaller pieces for shelves and gallery walls to larger statement pieces that can become the star of a room.

If you love art that feels collected, romantic, Old World, bohemian, moody and just a little unexpected, you really need to come wander through the shop.
