Lots of musical notes and i personally love the words at bottom of vase…” I am”statements - “I am aware,” “I am trying,” “I am whole,” “I am love,” and “I am art.” …kind of adds a personal and reflective element to the piece. It’s like a musical garden ❤️🎼💐

guess what time it is? ArtWalk TIME… get ready for CoLoRfUl bLoOMs and and AwEsOmE weather! This coming Saturday April 11th at Affaire d'art

I will be sharing a post each day this week so you can get a sneak peek of what’s coming to the gallery!

These bright colored floral pieces are all made from handmade gelli plate collage papers that I created (examples attached) each paper is created using a stencil and roller that is called a brayer, you add the paint to the gelli plate, lay down the stencil, place a piece of paper on top and roll the brayer over the paper to create the design (you can mix and match colors and layers), then i tear the paper into little pieces and glue them down and the final step is to cover each piece with a gloss medium top coat! As you can see, I also include a lot of sheet music 🎼❤️

So…if you are looking for something colorful… make sure and stop by the gallery this weekend. It’s a great time to get a jump start on those Mother’s Day gifts!

-Also if you have an idea in mind or color scheme hit me up and we can brainstorm the perfect piece!
