Galveston Island Market: Seaside is back TODAY! 🌴

Yesterday was our first market at the new Seaside location, and we had an incredible day. So we’re doing it again today, Sunday, August 30, starting at 11 AM!

Come find us on Seawall Boulevard between 11th and 12th Streets, right next to the Katy’s Seafood food truck. And yes, their shrimp is seriously some of the best I’ve had in a long time.

Come meet Jennifer Di Ranieri, the Queen of the Market, and check out all the local vendors. I’ll be there with my side hustle, Dave’s Collectors Cave, selling vinyl records, toys, collectibles, Crocs jibbitz and all kinds of cool stuff you probably didn’t know you needed.

The market may stay open as late as 8 PM, heat permitting, but I’ll be leaving earlier for Dave’s Galveston Tour, so if you want to come see me and dig through the records, come earlier in the day!

And remember this location: Galveston Island Market: Seaside will be here the FOURTH SATURDAY of every month.

🌴 Is Galveston’s Beach Hut cursed?

The Seawall spot lasted about a year before closing, leaving behind an empty palapa, overgrown dunes and plenty of questions. Locals remember its glory days, but some say high rent, insurance costs and poor service doomed the latest version.
