Small changes, big impact! Today is Energy Efficiency Day – OCTOBER 7TH, and we are sharing simple ways you can lower your utility bills while reducing your carbon footprint. As a Green Marine-certified port, we continuously strive for make our operations more sustainable.

• Unplug "Vampire" Electronics: Power strips can instantly shut off idling electronics that drain energy even when turned off.
• Switch to LEDs: Upgrading your bulbs uses up to 90% less energy and lasts up to 25 times longer than traditional incandescent lighting.
• Adjust Your Thermostat: Dialing your temperature back 7–10 degrees for 8 hours a day can save you up to 10% a year on heating and cooling.
• Clean Your Filters: Dusty HVAC filters force your system to run harder, draining power and shortening your unit's lifespan.
