What an incredible day at the NJ Film Expo 🎬

On April 30th, the WBR team had the opportunity to meet so many talented actors, filmmakers, writers, producers, and creatives from across New Jersey and we’re still SO inspired by all the conversations we had throughout the event!

The energy around NJ film right now is something special. There’s SO much talent, passion, and creativity growing here, and we’re excited to see where this next chapter of the industry goes 👏

Roles:

Grandpa: Male, 55-70, Caucasian. Aesthetic is soft, approachable, classic. A friendly, big-hearted former blue-collar worker who retired early and is now all-in on family life.

Bakery Owner: Female, 40-45, Black. Aesthetic is stylish, hip, urban-chic. A sharp, community-minded entrepreneur who built her business from the ground up and is deeply rooted in the neighborhood she serves.

Husband: Male, 30-35, Ethnically Ambiguous. Aesthetic is sporty, professional. A newly married young professional stepping into his next chapter: first home, growing career, and an outlook that’s upbeat and forward-focused.

Daughter: Female, 25-35, Any ethnicity. Aesthetic is stylish, high-end, chic. A stylish, confident and professional woman who loves a competition and doesn't mess around when it comes to her finances

Dad: Male, 55-70, Any ethnicity. Aesthetic is classic, old-school. Old-school Philly Italian dad. Tough exterior, protective instincts, and absolutely all-in for his daughter.

Sleezy Banker: Male, 50-55, Caucasian. Aesthetic is outdated, excessive, overdoing it. An overly made-up person with a questionable vibe. He's running on fumes, and willing to say or do whatever it takes to get what he wants
