Opening this Saturday, June 20th! 🖼 Milwaukee's Beer Line: An Exhibition of Photography (June 20-July 25)

✨ Join us for a FREE opening reception in tandem with Railroad Days on Friday, JUNE 26 from 5-7pm! Cash bar and hors d’oeuvres available. ⚠️ PLUS, the National Railroad Hall of Fame () has two Amtrak tickets to give away that night (6/26)! Winner’s name will be drawn just before 7pm. The tickets are good for round-trip coach travel; travel must be within the state of Illinois and can be between any city pair of the winner’s choosing. Other restrictions apply. 🛤

Join Daniel and gather in the name of music appreciation and storytelling! ✨ In partnership with Knox College's Arts in Action course, Knox students will host a series of FREE workshops at the Galesburg Community Arts Center.

🎧 🎶 Participants will choose a special song that is connected to a memory or story from their lives. (The song could be tied to a specific time period, a particular event, etc.) At the gathering, we will listen to each song and have a group discussion about how the music connects to our personal stories. The goal is to explore how and why we connect to music and to create a sense of community through a shared listening experience.

Create handmade journals with Tracy on June 24th! ✨ In partnership with Knox College's Arts in Action course, Knox students will host a series of FREE workshops at the Galesburg Community Arts Center.

📙 Participants will explore how creativity can make daily life more organized, intentional, and more beautiful. This workshop invites you to slow down, reflect on your own habits and routines, and make something that is truly yours. Your handmade journal will become a daily companion: a space to capture your tasks, jot down recipes, doodle freely, collect your ideas, and carry a small piece of your own creativity wherever you go!

Tracy will be leading this workshop twice! It is FREE and open to the public. All materials included.

Let the sun shine through with Summer "Stained Glass" for kids! 🪟 This Saturday, June 13 from 10-11am, kiddos can join us for a guided art-making activity that takes advantage of the summer sun, creating their own "stained glass" designs using clear plastic sheets and translucent paint! 🌤
