We are thrilled to announce that the GHS Treble Singers have been selected to perform at the 2027 Illinois Music Education Conference (IMEC/All-State). This is one of the highest honors a high school choir can receive, with only two to three treble choirs selected statewide each year.

We are incredibly proud of our students! It is an honor to represent Galesburg at IMEC and share this exciting achievement with our community!

The choir program has doubled in size. The theater department has more than doubled. Galesburg Junior/Senior High School Director of Galesburg Choirs and Theatre Lucy Rieke and students Josh Cobb and Jordan Bowton joined Galesburg's Morning News this morning to talk about what's driving the growth — and the upcoming production of Mamma Mia, April 17, 18, and 19.
