Well... here I go. COME AUDITION FOR ME!

One of the things I love most about directing is finding stories that make us look at ourselves a little differently. Stories that don't tell us what to think—they ask us to think.

Caroline, or Change is absolutely one of those stories.

Set in 1963 Louisiana, it takes place during the Civil Rights Movement, but at its heart it's about people. Family. Loss. Hope. Survival. The things we hold onto. The things we're forced to let go of. And how even the smallest moments can change someone's life forever.

The music is unlike anything you've heard. Blues. Gospel. Motown. Classical. Traditional Jewish music. It shouldn't all fit together... but somehow it does, and it creates this incredibly rich emotional landscape that just pulls you in.

This isn't a flashy musical. It's not meant to give you easy answers. It's meant to make you feel. To listen. To wrestle with uncomfortable truths. To see people—not just characters.

Those are the kinds of stories I love telling.

I'm honored to be stepping into the rehearsal room with this one, and I can't wait to share the journey with all of you. I have a feeling this show is going to leave its mark on every one of us.

As we head into our closing weekend of Around the Snaketurn, I wanted to take a moment, not as the director, but simply as someone who has had the privilege of living with this story for the past several months.

Wow we did that!!! and its solidified by audiences staying afterward to talk, and people tell you they cannot stop thinking about what they saw.

We recently received a wonderful review that speaks to the power of this production, the cast, and the story itself.

This play is about mothers and daughters. Survival and sacrifice. The choices we make to protect the people we love. It is beautiful, difficult, heartbreaking, and incredibly relevant.

As a director, I could not be prouder of this cast, these understudies, and the entire creative team.

Now I am asking for one final favor.

We need audiences for our closing weekend. Thursday and Friday 7:30pm and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm.

Friday evening and our closing Sunday performance especially need your support. If you have been saying, "I need to see this," now is the time. Don't let this become one of those shows you meant to attend.

Come support new work. Come support these AMAZING local artists. Come witness this remarkable story. I promise you will leave with something to think about.

Set in West Africa, the drama offers a universal message of determination to reject beliefs and practices that harm girls.
