All good things must.....happen tonight, because we don't know if there will be another.

There certainly won't be another night like tonight because, well, time-space continuum and all that stuff.

But tonight will be our last night at Island Pride for the SAW Open Mic -- at least for a while. Maybe for good. We're not really sure, but we are definitely taking a break from the weekly grind of hosting an open mic that has seen better days. We will keep you all posted about what happens next. Maybe we will move to monthly, maybe to another venue, maybe this is the end of the road for our run at Island Pride.

Come vote with your feet, your instruments, your voices, and your best songs! If tonight is to be the final night, let's go out with a bang, not a whimper! I will be there at 7pm to curate the list. And I will be curating it -- we want our best performers with the biggest hearts sharing their best stuff. So I will be setting the order based on what is best for the evening. We will start at 7:30. If you wander in late, you may not get a spot.

Hey, all! There will be NO Open Mic tonight, August 14th, at Oasis. Repairs are taking a bit longer than expected. The work is expected to be completed by this Thursday. So write a few new songs this week and come play them for us on the 21st! See you then!
