Been trying out my new TM200 sewing machine on this small thread painting, before traveling to a workshop with the amazing later this year. I'm so excited to have the opportunity to learn from her in person! So far, this little machine is working great! I got a sturdy carry-on sized case for it that should also protect it if it has to be checked.

and for showing my art! The Birds 2: Feathers and Forms exhibit will be up through June 28. With 25 artists and more than 100 original artworks including paintings, sculpture, ceramics and mixed media, it is an incredible show!

I am excited to have my thread painting, Great Horned Owl, included in the upcoming Birds 2 exhibit at , along with works from many talented artists. The opening reception is this coming Saturday, May 16th from 2-5 pm. The exhibit runs through June 28.
