Our first play, The Pied Piper of Hamlin, was produced in 1927 and we have been producing quality plays and musicals ever since. In 2006, we moved into our present facility, the magnificent Vam York Theater, a 210-seat house with facilities to stage the most demanding musicals and plays.

Funeral arrangements for Pat Thomson are being taken care of by Forest Meadows Funeral Home (352-378-2528). The funeral service will be held at the Holy Faith Catholic Church on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026 at 11 a.m. with a reception immediately following in the church banquet room. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Richard Little benefits fund (email: [email protected] for details).

Earlier this week, the GCP community lost a legend. We had so much to celebrate in Pat Thomson - from acting to directing, scenery to costumes, she could do it all. We will greatly miss our friend, and hope the shows we present continue to reflect her spirit.
