Championship Friday at Lake Lanier Olympic Park. 🚣‍♀️🏆

Congratulations to Tufts University, the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Rowing National Champion, and Western Washington University, the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Rowing National Champion and winner of its historic 10th national title.

Thank you to the athletes, coaches, families, volunteers, and fans who made today an unforgettable day of championship racing. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Sunday as the nation's top Division I programs battle for a national championship.

🚨 Weather Update – NCAA Women’s Rowing Championships 🚨

Due to forecasted weather conditions, Saturday racing has been canceled. Racing will conclude at the end of the competition today and resume on Sunday.

Want to skip the traffic of the full parking lots and head straight to the action? Park at our off-site spectator parking location and hop aboard the Gainesville Trolley for a ride directly to the front gate of Lake Lanier Olympic Park!

The course is set, the crews are ready, and championship weekend is underway. 🚣‍♀️

Today, teams from across the country took to the water at Lake Lanier Olympic Park for practice ahead of the NCAA Women’s Rowing Championships. Athletes had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the course, fine-tune preparations, and get ready for competition on one of the nation's premier rowing venues.

🚨 Schedule Update: NCAA Women’s Rowing Championships 🚨

Due to the weather forecast, adjustments have been made to this weekend’s racing schedule. Division I semifinal races have been moved from Saturday to Friday to help ensure as much racing as possible can be completed safely.

Shuttles will start at 6 a.m. from off-site locations, Gates will open at 6:30 a.m. for spectators, and racing will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, 5/29. Weather conditions will continue to be monitored throughout the weekend, and additional updates will be shared if needed.

Thank you for your flexibility and support as we work to provide a safe and successful championship experience for all athletes, coaches, and spectators.

Planning to attend the NCAA Women’s Rowing Championship at Lake Lanier Olympic Park? Here’s everything you need to know about parking!

âś… Spectator parking is located at Lanier Technical College with FREE ADA-accessible shuttles running to and from the venue.
âś… Team bus parking and team trailer parking have designated areas.
âś… VIP, NCAA staff, coaches, and officials must use their assigned parking access.

Please plan ahead, follow signage, and allow extra travel time during championship weekend!
