Amazing picture showing the scale of our displays

On the 4th of July, we captured photos of the fireworks in Hamilton County, in the small town of Jasper, Florida. For such a small town, they had a BIG fireworks show that rivals much larger cities.

We usually see fireworks from a good distance away, without giving much thought to how MASSIVE these exploding fireworks actually are. I captured a shot that shows the silhouette of the people launching the fireworks; it gives a unique perspective that shows just how BIG they actually are! I was amazed at how small the people looked in comparison to the fireworks they were launching.

This shot actually didn't capture everything above them; there was quite a bit well above the top of the frame of this shot!

This was a 6 second long exposure, f/6.3, ISO 100.
