Dear Vendors and attendees of Mule camp,

Due to the current weather forecast and in coordination with local emergency services, we have made the decision to close Mule Camp Market on Saturday October 10th. The safety of our guests, vendors, and volunteers is our top priority and we feel it is in the best interest of everyone to make this decision.

We plan on reopening Mule camp Market for everyone on Sunday the 11th, and we will extend the hours to compensate for not being open on Saturday. The hours for Sunday will now be 10am to 7pm as it seems the weather will pass by then.

We want to extend our apologies for this news, but the weather is one thing that is out of our control. We look forward to having a great day today with lots of guest coming through, and then again on Sunday.

🚨 Mule Camp Weather Update:

Our team is continuing to evaluate the weather for this weekend. We should have a better idea for the path of the storm and its impacts to our area by Thursday at 8pm. VENDORS - PLEASE READ THE LAST PARAGRAPH

Here's the latest:

Friday: Weather looks great, no concerns

Saturday: Scattered Storms in the morning/scattered showers in the afternoon. Our main concern is the sustained winds/gusts. Our team will be walking around Camp on Friday making sure that vendor tents are secured.

Sunday: Scattered Showers in the morning, clears up throughout the day.

As a reminder, we do not dictate when a vendor is or isn't open. We are planning to open up the greenway after 9pm on Friday to allow vendors who want to pack up their stuff before Saturday the opportunity to do so. That same opportunity will be presented on Sunday morning at 9am for those vendors to set back up. Depending on how Saturday turns out, we may extend the festival hours on Sunday.

Come see The Connor Lawley Band on Friday at 7:30! They will be playing at the Midland Greenway Amphitheater!

Opener goes on at 6:30pm, with students from the school of rock playing before that!

We're keeping a close eye on the weather forecast this week as things continue to develop. Here's where we stand:

Friday is looking great.

Saturday may see some scattered showers rolling through in the afternoon, so we're monitoring it closely. If conditions call for it, we may adjust the festival schedule, but as of now, we're planning to keep things rolling on as scheduled.

Expect a final decision for Saturday to be made by Friday at 6pm, if you do not hear from us, then the schedule is unchanged.

Sunday could see some scattered storms early in the day, but we're expecting things to clear up as the day goes on.

A quick reminder — make sure your tents, canopies, and gear are properly secured and staked down. The forecast is calling for wind gusts on Saturday.

We'll continue providing updates throughout the week as the forecast becomes clearer.
