This is a painting I did of a Castle Line ship - RMS "Pembroke Castle" approaching Cape Town, South Africa in 1896. My Great Grandfather was the 3rd Officer on the ship. I was only able to find one fuzzy old black and white photo of her so it took a little research to portray her here in the correct hull color. The center yellow flag she is flying is requesting a pilot to come out and take into port.

"Dogfight over Northern France" Acrylic on 24" x 30" canvas.
This painting is to honor my Great Uncle who was an "Ace" WW I fighter pilot. The bi-plane in the foreground of the painting is his, the scene is the start of a dog fight with two German fighters in the skies of Northern France during 1917.
