UF Ropin' in the Swamp

UF Ropin' in the Swamp On this page, we will keep everyone updated as information is released for the upcoming Ropin' in the Swamp to be held in the Fall of 2026.

Ropin’ in the Swamp is by far the largest annual fundraiser that Block and Bridle produces annually in the spring. The roping is a numbered team roping. During this event, ropers have the opportunity to run for several different high dollar prizes including: money, time average buckles in each division, breast collars, and saddles. After this great event, the money that is earned back by the club

is then used to help fund several club trips and produce our other annual events.
*2022 Date is: March 26-27, 2022

Team roping format:
- #13 slide, 3HD progressive, enter up to 7x.
- #11, 3HD progressive, enter up to 7x.
- #9, 3HD progresssive, enter up to 7x.
- #8 (capped at 4), 3HD progressive, enter up to 7x.

We’re Getting Ready for the 18th Annual Ropin’ in the Swamp!👏🏼 The countdown is on! Join us this weekend, March 29th & 30th!

Hungry? We’ve got you covered! Meals will be available for purchase during breakfast and lunch on Saturday & Sunday (while supplies last), plus concessions all weekend long!

Please note: There will be NO breakaway this year.
