Remember that mastermind technical drawing we shared a few weeks ago? Well, the secret is officially out of the bag—and onto the stage!

Look closely... notice those glowing crocodile eyes? Warren Goodwin’s design has officially come to life, transforming our theater into the magical world of Neverland! Seeing our campers step onto this completed, morphing set to practice for their big performance is pure magic. This is exactly what the Hippodrome camp experience is all about—bringing imagination to reality.

Remembering a Hippodrome legend today.

On the anniversary of his passing, we are looking back on the incredible life and legacy of Rusty Salling. From 1973 to 2014, Rusty gave us some of the most breathtaking performances in our theatre's history. Though he starred in a vast array of excellent shows, it was his evolution in our annual production of A Christmas Carol that cemented his legacy. Starting as Bob Cratchit in 1978, he went on to embody Ebenezer Scrooge for over a quarter of a century, bringing festive joy to thousands of patrons until his final bow in December 2014.

Thank you, Rusty, for the decades of joy, dedication, and theatrical brilliance you gifted to the Hippodrome and our community. ❤
