The Manic Menagerie is the production name for events produced by Maressa Fox. The Menagerie produces three shows in Gainesville, all with a unique flavor! The Menagerie Burlesque R***e is an intimate high-class Burlesque affair once a month at the historic Market Street Pub. Reserved table seating is for the R***e is sold in advance. The Manic Menagerie Presents is a large cast, themed Burlesque variety show held bi-monthly at Market Street Pub, and features local performing favorites as well as guest performers state wide. Sunday S.I.N & Strip is a no-cover weekly Burlesque showcase at 2nd Street Speakeasy. Industry Night specials include $5 cocktails, and performers are different every week. The Manic Menagerie is run by local entrepreneur Maressa Fox, who founded the company in 2013. Featuring over 50 performers, artists, and technicians of the course of its first season, the Manic Menagerie has been a source of networking and communion between all of Gainesville's art forms.
