I feel a little silly doing this, but here goes! Hey there! My name is Bailey, events director here at Top Secret Events. I heard at a training recently that people like to know the people behind the business. So here’s a bit about me and Top Secret Events! 💻

What is Top Secret Events?
We are a local event company that hosts private and public events in downtown Gainesville at The Wooly, The Depot, Boxcar, and more. My favorite way to describe our events: “you name it, we’ve probably done it.” Weddings, birthday parties, quiñces, memorials, bar/bat mitzvahs, baby showers, prison release celebrations, graduations, fundraisers, fashion shows, concerts, comedy, dance nights….

We offer venue space, in-house catering by The Top, full bar setup, staffing, AV, and event rentals.

We are a small team with me and my lovely assistant, my bar manager, and an amazing BOH chef and FOH team of bartenders and door/floor staff.

Who am I?
As I’m sure you can tell already, I like to be behind the scenes. I found the perfect job for that. I’ve lived in Gainesville since 2006 and started working here at in 2017. As the age old GNV story goes, I came to college and never left. I love this town.

I’m a momma and wife to your local hardcore drummer/vegan/firefighter Jim. When I’m not at work, I love eating veg food, running, spending time in nature, and going to shows with my family and friends.

At events you can find me running around making sure the food is set up, staff are on point, lighting is perfect, snappin’ pics, fighting with the Photo Booth. On office days, I’m answering emails, phone calls, giving tours, agonizing over social media, invoicing folks, doing reports, scheduling staff, planning public events, the list goes on.

The best part of my job is getting to know people in my local community. Over the past 8 years I’m so lucky to become friends with some of my clients and my vendor friends. Aside from that, I love love! And I love a good party.

Join us Sat. July 13th to celebrate! As always we’ll have golden babies, great specials and funky tunes coming your way🫶🏼🦆

This year we wanted to highlight a local Gainesville non-profit org! We will be holding a silent auction throughout the night to raise funds for , an awesome camp for kids that focuses on raising self-esteem and leadership skills through the power of music 🤘🏼🎸 They’ll also be doing their first Summer showcase right next door at with a sliding scale donation for entry! Keep an eye out on our socials for auction items😉
