The Billy Mitchell Drill Team is UF's premier drill, ceremony, and color guard team. And while we operate out of Van Fleet Hall, any student is welcome to join.

During the spring semester, members of the Billy Mitchell Drill Team competed in several events at the 52nd annual 2026 Mardi Gras Drill Meet. The events our members participated in included Color Guard, Individual Exhibition, Platoon Basic, Platoon Exhibition, and Squad Basic. We are so proud of the countless hours each of our members dedicated to their routines, and loved the opportunity to show off all of the hard work the team did throughout the year.

This semester, we had the opportunity of welcoming 22 new members to our team. Since they graduated, they have had opportunities to participate in honor guard performances, color guards, and competing as a team. We are proud of all of the hard work they have done, and cannot wait to see what they accomplish as members of the team!

This past weekend, members of the Billy Mitchel Drill Team participated in an honor guard performance at the 10th annual Gator Fly-In and Armed Services Appreciation Day. We are proud of the hard work they put into this routine, and are honored by the opportunity to perform at this event.

This past Spring, the drill team competed at Tulane University NROTC 2025 Mardi Gras Drill meet. The Billy Mitchell Drill Team competed in Platoon Exhibition, Squad basic, and color guard. We are so proud of all that our members accomplished at such a prestigious drill meet.
Addition to competing, the drill team had the pleasure of 7 new members that joined the team. We would like to honor our new members:

- Ms. Yenor

We are so proud of everything that each new and old member has accomplished this semester. We look forward to seeing our returning members this fall.

This month, the Billy Mitchell Drill Team had the pleasure of witnessing three of our members graduate from the University of Florida and commission into the United States Air Force as 2nd Lieutenants.
