Thank you to everyone who joined us for Concert in the Park at Jolly Park!

Members of the Cherokee Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA) enjoyed spending the evening connecting with families, sharing creativity, and offering free face painting as part of this wonderful community event. It was a joy to see so many smiles and to be a small part of an evening filled with music, food, and fun.

We are grateful to the event organizers, performers, vendors, and community members who helped make the evening such a success. We hope you enjoy a few highlights from the event!

CAVA's Downtown gallery is bursting with new things, fun things, useful things, and every one of them ORIGINAL artworks!!

You make a REAL person do a happy dance when you support a local artist! Come check out the downtown gallery, located inside Hartzog's at 402 N Limestone St. in Gaffney!!

The Cherokee Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA) invites the community to attend the opening reception for our newest exhibit, “Rooftops,” on Thursday, May 14, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, hosted by CAVA in the Gaffney Visitors Center & Art Gallery.

This exhibit features artwork inspired by rooftops, skylines, architecture, and the unique perspectives found above the streets below. Visitors will enjoy a diverse collection of original works created by talented local artists working in a variety of styles and mediums.

Guests are encouraged to come meet the artists, enjoy light refreshments, and experience the creativity and inspiration behind the exhibit. A door prize will also be given away prior to the conclusion of the reception.

Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.

We hope you will join us for an evening celebrating art, community, and creativity in downtown Gaffney!

👨🏻‍🎨🎨👩🏼‍🎨NEW EXHIBIT!🧑🏼‍🎨🎨👨🏻‍🎨

There is a new exhibit in the Gallery at the Gaffney Visitors Center and Art Gallery located at 210 W. Frederick Street. This exhibit is called “Visual Journey.” Members of Cherokee Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA) have their own works on display and many of the members invited a friend or guest artist to exhibit along with them.
The reception for this show will be Thursday, March 19th from 5:30-7:00 pm.
Everyone is invited to attend the reception to see art, talk art, meet artists, and enjoy free refreshments.
Make sure to visit this show while it is up. A new show will go up at the end of April.

Come by the Downtown Gallery this Saturday, February 7th to meet Kira Van Deusen and enjoy her exhibit!

Kira will be here from 10-12. We will have some lights refreshments for all to enjoy!

Allow us to reintroduce ourselves!

CAVA is more than the art hanging on our walls. We are made up of local artists who show art, have tons of fun together, and think art is an important part of our culture.

We have galleries located in the Gaffney Visitors Center and in Hartzog’s in downtown Gaffney.

We have new exhibits regularly, in both the visitors center and the downtown gallery.

There’s a new show in the Art Gallery inside the Gaffney Visitors Center located at 210 West Frederick Street. The show, titled “From the Attic,” is an exhibit of CAVA members’ older pieces. Mark your calendar for Thursday, January 22nd from 5:30-7:00 pm for the reception. Come out and talk to the artists while enjoying light refreshments. If you enjoy collecting art or dabbling in art as a hobby, supporting CAVA is a great place to start.

A new artist has joined CAVA and she has put 4 pieces in the downtown Gallery inside Hartzog's Gifts and Fine Jewelers. We welcome Robin Childers and invite everyone to check out her work and all the other work by local artists in both our galleries.
Connie Tracy has also added new pieces to the Downtown Gallery and as always there are lots of matted paintings of animals by Marjorie Hawthorne. Come pick one out and buy it and leave it for Glenda to frame!
