This RV-14 for Phil and Pam Sprang is just bursting with personality. It's a stunning scheme, with sharp, jagged teal lines crossing the fuselage to create a feeling of energy, while a smooth streak of coral grounds the design. Phil came to us looking for a scheme that felt uniquely his own, and we loved our chance to help bring it to life!

A while back, the Evoke Design team decided to go head to head in a design challenge, coming up with their perfect scheme for an RV-7. Turns out, it wasn’t just Autumn’s perfect scheme, it was also perfect for Phil Sprang, whose RV-14 already happened to be in the Evoke shop! A few weeks later and the RV-14 is nearly complete! Throughout October, we’re going to be celebrating ten years of Evoke, looking back at some great times and looking forward to what’s coming in the next decade. It’s always fun pulling a plane out of the hangar and into the sun for the first time. When those rays hit the paint, it kicks things up to another level, and Michelle and Jason Van Loan’s RV-14 was no exception. That metallic blue truly sparkled out on the runway, with the faded stars providing the perfect accent to a gorgeous Signature Series scheme. Safe travels home to the Van Loans, and thanks again for trusting us with their aircraft!

Jason and Michelle Van Loan’s RV-14 is an aircraft that looks fast just sitting on the runway, sporting energetic lightning bolts up the sides and faded stars that give the nose and tail a big pop of patriotic flair. We had a great time working with the Van Loans to bring this beauty to life and an even better time getting to see the finished product take to the skies! Congrats to Jason and Michelle on taking home a beautiful RV-14!

Massive thanks to Sean Tucker for giving a few members of the Evoke team a ride in his Sling TSi! They’d never gotten to fly in an experimental aircraft before, and judging by those smiles, it’s an experience they won’t soon forget! Always a pleasure getting to see a Signature Series drop by (and even better when we get to take it for a ride!)
