This is a dune shot from a location in DV I’ve been meaning to go to for many years, as usual the shot I had in mind was long gone😅, as in the flowers were dead. What was around however were a ton of White-Lined Sphinx Moth caterpillars, they were looking for places to burrow in the dunes to pupate. That evening I wasn’t expecting color, so when it happened, I scrambled to line up their tracks to make this comp on the fly.

I’m in an editing slump lately, I have soo many images, but I just find other things to do. Anyhoo, we’ve been getting some beautiful weather here lately, with some stunning sunsets. As I was driving out to the gf’s house last night I took a little detour and captured a couple images and clips and thought I’d share😊

This scene is literally down the street from my house, out in farm land that I’ve scoped out before, but have only shot on black and white film, but thought it looked cool given the conditions.
