A new piercing is only half the process. The other half is taking care of it. ✨

Following proper aftercare helps reduce irritation, supports healing, and gives your piercing the best chance to heal beautifully.

A few reminders:
💗 Hands off your piercing
💗 Clean with sterile saline or warm water only
💗 Don’t overclean (twice a day is plenty)
💗 Avoid alcohol, peroxide, ointments, and soap on your piercing
💗 Try not to sleep on it
💗 Be patient… healing takes time!

A little prep goes a long way! ✨

Want your piercing appointment to go as smoothly as possible? Here are a few things I recommend before you come in:

• Eat a meal beforehand
• Stay hydrated
• Skip alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment
• Avoid aspirin or other blood thinners (only if your doctor says it’s safe to do so)
• Skip the caffeine the day of your appointment if you’re prone to feeling anxious or lightheaded
• Get a good night’s sleep

These simple steps can help you feel more comfortable and make your appointment easier from start to finish.
