Yesterday, our Homeschoolers performed our first production of Matilda of the semester, and they were amazing!!! 👏📚✨🦎. They are a large group of a wide age range, but they worked together as a single ensemble to execute a technically and musically challenging show. Also, incredible work by our costumer Andrea Lunsford. She really gets youth productions and anticipating directors’ visions. What a dream!
And thank you to the families who supported these awesome kids and our team through the semester. Not just on learning their material, but in partnering with us to help those young actors grow as people too! We saw strides made across the airs with our students and that is not done without a great team effort in class and at home.
And finally, biggest thanks to the young actors themselves who did the work, kept us on schedule, had maybe the most accurate off-book date we’ve ever seen, and were such a delight to work with. Can wait until Elf Jr. in the fall!! 🎅🎄🏙️(Registration opens May 1). Happy summer, Homeschoolers!!!
