Important info for the upcoming Fall registration

*IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR THE FUTURE FALL 2026 SEASON REGISTRATIONS AND BEYOND*

The Fuquay-Varina Arts Center along with Parks and Recreation department are excited to be moving to a new and improved registration system called RecTrac! Here's what you need to know:

Starting MAY 4, 2026, you'll be able to create your new RecTrac account. (If you have made an account already with Parks and Rec, you do not have to make a separate one for the Arts Center, they will work across both).

The Fuquay-Varina Arts Center will be moving over to RecTrac for registrations on JULY 1, 2026 for the Fall Season of classes to give you plenty of time to make your account. In order for it to be as seamless as possible for you, it is recommended you make your new account early.

Old accounts on Activenet will no longer be usable under RecTrac starting SEPTEMBER 1, 2026, but will stay active throughout the Summer 2026 Season. This is good news as you can start fresh for the Fall. There will also be an App with RecTrac coming soon!

Do not worry, we will help you every step of the way, with video tutorials and instructions should you need them. You are always welcome to ask us any questions on how to get started in person or over the phone. As with any new change, we can expect a learning curve; however, we are together in this endeavor and prepared to support each other throughout the process!

The Teen Art Show is back! Teens between the ages of 13 and 19 are invited to submit up to 4 digital images of their original artwork. Submissions will be juried and selected works will be on display in the Massengill Design Build Gallery at the Fuquay-Varina Arts Center. Join the Fuquay-Varina Arts Center for new Acting Classes in Spring!
Intro to Acting is a 1-day trial class for those interested in the Beginner-Intermediate Acting class, but who want a taste of what to expect first.
In the Acting Beginner Intermediate class you will learn to utilize techniques such as the Stanislavsky System and the Lee Strasberg Method to build the foundation of your acting skills. Students will work with monologues, improvisations, scene work, as well as exercises to help with relaxation, concentration, character analysis, and more.
