🏁🔥 CREW SPOTLIGHT: BRIAN WARNER JR. 🔥🏁

Brian Warner Jr. has been around racing since 1997, growing up at tracks across Illinois including Farmer City Raceway, Charleston Speedway, and Vermillion County Speedway.

He started working on race cars at 15 years old, helping his dad, who owned 8 different race cars throughout his racing career. In 2014, Brian bought his first race car and competed in Midwest Mods before life took him away from the sport for a while.

Today, Brian is back at the track doing what he loves. Dirt track racing has always felt like home, and he's proud to be part of the Callaway Raceway family.

One of our goals at Callaway Raceway is to help fans, drivers, crews, and even new race fans better understand what happens on race night.

Sometimes a call may seem simple. Other times there may be questions about why a restart was called back, why a driver was sent to the pits, or what terms like DQ, DNF, and DNS actually mean.

That's why we're launching our Track Awareness Series.

In this series you'll learn:

🏁 RACE CANCELED 🏁

We absolutely hated making this decision, but with the rain that just moved through the area, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight's racing program.

We know many of you were looking forward to racing tonight, and trust us when we say this is the last thing we wanted to do. Jake and the crew worked hard all day doing everything possible to get this show in, but Mother Nature had other plans.

The safety of our drivers, fans, and staff has to come first.

We appreciate everyone's patience, understanding, and continued support through another challenging weather week.

We'll regroup, get the track back in shape, and be ready to go next time.

🏁 WEATHER UPDATE 🏁

While it seems to be raining everywhere else, the track has only received a small amount of rain so far. The shower that had us concerned earlier has moved out.

👉 As of right now, we are STILL ON for tonight!

However, any additional rain could have a major impact on track conditions. Jake and the Callaway Raceway crew are at the track right now doing everything possible to keep tonight's race alive.

We appreciate everyone's patience and support. Stay tuned for updates!

Rained out for the weekend at both Valley and Moberly

The weather is all over the place. We’re not 100 percent certain we can’t get these in, but we’re also not trying to be race heroes either. It is our responsibility to look after the time and money of both the racer and promoter.

Jot down October 16 & 17 on your calendars. We plan to run the tour that weekend, most likely at Moberly, for two days, but we still have to iron out the details. We will work to find a slot for Valley too, but we aren’t as far along there.

Thanks to Lies Trash Service and also Reid Millard for stepping up this weekend, the real bummer is we didn’t get to race, because we were prepared for a showcase!
