Students will learn tips and tricks for effective script writing including character and plot development. Students will then complete a script together and perform it at the end of the camp
Open to rising 7-12th grade Katy ISD students

Workshop 2: How to High School for Actors
June 22-25 9:00-4:00
Jordan High School
Students will learn how to take their junior high acting experience and level up in preparation for entering high school theatre. Some topics discussed will be audition skills, how to locate and select the right material, audition etiquette, information on how high school theatre departments operate, texas thespians information, and so much more. This camp will give incoming freshman and returning students a leg-up on the upcoming audition season!

In this hilarious, crowd-pleasing slapstick comedy, several colorful, duplicitous characters stumble around a pitch-black room – all in full view of the audience, who watch the events unfold in full light.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2026 TEXAS THESPIAN FESTIVAL ATTENDEES!

These students will be attending the annual Texas Thespian Festival this fall in Corpus Christi, competing against other Thespians statewide in internationally qualifying events as well as Texas-only events. Way to go!
