I’ve had the extreme pleasure of seeing this project develop over the past years. During that time every single component, and combination of components, was scrutinized. I fancy myself a fairly discerning listener and was consistently surprised at how well this power supply performed. It allowed all the components in the signal chain to play well beyond perceived capabilities. My home reference system will be getting one shortly.

.::Update - JT’s 2019 Dodge Daytona 392::.

After the body work is smoothed to perfection and all gaps are checked and rechecked. Then the pods are upholstered in black Alcantara.

After countless installation hours, it would be easy to take full credit for these build. But I owe a huge thanks to friends in the audio industry and competition circuit for sharing their knowledge and providing encouragement and motivation.

.::Pod Update on JT’s 2019 Dodge Daytona 392::. Once the resin cured, the edges were cleaned up and the face sanded with 80grit. Now the shape is done and it’s time to perfect the finish. For the first round of body filler, I use USC Duraglas because it is fiberglass reinforced. Then I use Evercoat Z-Grip for mid coats. Last round of body filler is Evercoat Rage Ultra. Lastly a few coats of 2k primer and 220grit. Now off to upholstery.

.:: Pod Update on JT’s 2019 Dodge Daytona 392 ::. After removing the fiberglass shape of the windshield, dash, and a-pillar. The shape was trimmed to the desired size and then a polyester fleece was used to wrap the face and side. Then marine laminating polyester resin was used to solidify the fleece and lock everything together. It is now the rough shape that it is going to be.

Very excited about working on JT’s 2019 Dodge Daytona 392. For the 2023 season he is changing his tweeters and the location of his midrange speakers. He requested the enclosures be on the large side for more volume. A stitches biaxial fiberglass mat was used and tooling grade polyester resin to get the shape of the glass, dash, and a-pillar.

I was commissioned to paint two 7’ tall giraffes for an eye surgeon’s yard instillation.They were made from metal and powder coated white.
