1. Air bubbles are normal on your first wrap
Almost every beginner traps air under the vinyl at some point.
Learning proper squeegee technique and air release takes practice.
2. Clean cuts matter more than fast installs
Rushing cuts leads to uneven edges, bad seams, or damaged paint.
Taking extra time trimming properly makes the wrap look much cleaner.
3. Tension control matters more than stretching
Pulling vinyl too aggressively creates stress that causes peeling or shrinking later.
Use controlled tension and let the material lay naturally when possible.
4. Knifeless tape will save you from bad cuts
Freehand cutting on paint is one of the easiest ways to damage your car.
Knifeless tape gives cleaner lines and safer cuts.
5. Not every panel should be wrapped in one piece
Beginners often force difficult panels with a single sheet and waste material.
Strategic seams and inlays usually look better than overstretched vinyl.
