This concept has been one of the most surprising ones I have learned lately. The image I have been creating of the women with an issue of blood has seemed like it’s missing a depth element. I think an underlayer might be the answer… realistically I wanted the background to be dusk. I think a cool dark would work nicely. 🎨

This was my very favorite peice that was sung during the church meetings that were had in the early 2000s for outgoing missionaries. The spirit of missionary work welled up inside of me and my heart strings were definitely tugged tonight. 🙌 “As we serve the king of kings!” 💪🏼

It has been very fulfilling to make strides to actually finish a peice of music. I am hoping to get this one finished for Mother’s Day. Its gentleness and warmth remind me of the sacred love of mother and child and delivers probably the most wholesome message the Savior gives us. Jesus loves us… always.

If there is one thing I want to bring up in people when they see my art, it is pure love. This is a little bit of material play with modeling paste, watercolor, and … strangely enough a soft rock pulled from owyhee canyon that looks like shards of mother of pearl. I love that delicious texture.

I stumbled on this Artist. It touched me at the very center. 🫂 there is so much love in that room.

Here is a throwback from my college days. It was a book illustration for my mother in law to preserve her heartwarming story for the grandkids.

It’s done! So many great people came together to make this happen! It was great to celebrate some of the Polynesian culture with song. The kis really pulled it off. Down the road I can post pictures of the sweet kids as they get older.

I have felt really inspired lately by the human emotion of desire, and how it is expressed. Quite possibly some of the biggest emotions people experience might be romance. Enter, the Ladies in Lavender theme. It could quite possibly be the most beautiful violin solo I have ever heard. I tend to flit from one song to the next that comes to my mind, but I really feel a strong desire to write and perform a dance to this incredible music.

Unfortunately my right hip is still quite painful in the hip flexor area, so I have been experimenting more with the arms. I’m beginning to understand why dancers often wear simpler clothing as well. For function of movement, and the other because the need for art and beauty quota is already met when you dance. ,

Here is the YouTube like to the theme.
