Progress is being made on the North Mulberry Outdoor Plaza in downtown Fruita. This past week, the crosswalks on Aspen Avenue were reopened for pedestrian traffic. Posts for lighting and shade sails are being installed and decorative concrete is being poured.

Pedestrian access on the east side of the project from Aspen Avenue to the north side of Mulberry Street will open tomorrow morning! Stay tuned for more updates on this project by visiting fruita.org/projects.

As much as I hate to post this we had a set back last month with the delivery of our trolley. The carrier totaled it during transportation. Weโ€™re working on getting another and have been set back a little. It has been devastating since this has been my dream for some time and have already invested a year into making this happen. I donโ€™t know whether to start a go fund me page or not. The carrier unfortunately was not insured even though he was required to be, and this has been a giant disaster. Thoughts??? Advice??? #
