Satchel with Elder Futhark inscription, “Raido” translates as “ride” (travel?). Individual EF runes were not named by the users of the alphabet, but coined later by researchers in the Younger Futhark era or later.

Bottle of Toxic Warning! Interesting that one of the earliest uses of the “skull and crossbones” was not by pirates, but began with the Knights Templar. When that nasty, greedy, French king came after them, to fill his empty war coffers with the Templar’s wealth. The Templars that weren’t executed or imprisoned, escaped to the sea, possibly carrying the “skull and crossbones bones” with them, over the years. The French mass executions of the Templars began on a Friday the 13th, perhaps the source of the infamous date. Weirder yet, when Emperor Lalibela of Ethiopia built the massive underground cathedrals, in the 11th and 12th century, an Armenian surveyor wrote that there were blond and red-headed men of “military bearing” overseeing the project….

Surprisingly, almost NO fox stamps for leather…drew up a design, having a company make one for me…. be careful who you use, some slobs on Etsy sold me a stamp that lasted about 40 whacks, then came apart. Could care less when I asked for a replacement….look for a warrantee…..
