Friday, March 20 PRA Trail Update:

PRA Trails are not yet open for running and biking due to mud and snow on all north-facing trails and shady aspects. It is melting fast, and trails should be ready to go in 10-14 days. Thank you for your patience. We will update as conditions change. The Rec Path from Frisco to Breckenridge is open.

Due to diminishing snowpack and warm temperatures in the forecast, Tuesday, March 17 will be the final day of the season for skiing at the Frisco Nordic Center.

Despite a tough snow year, we were still able to proudly host our Nordic community and some great events, including the Denver Invitational Nordic races, which were relocated to Frisco from Minturn due to snow conditions.

Thank you to our amazing Nordic community for your support and positive attitudes all winter. If you’re hoping for a few more laps, come ski with us before we close for the season!

Happy Spring in February?! 🙃

We're maintaining 3.5 km of artificial snow groomed for classic and skate. All other trails, including snowshoe trails, are closed.

Let's hope for lots of real snow soon!

Frisco Nordic Center is hosting the DU Invitational and RMN Youth Race Series events ALL DAY on Saturday, February 7, and Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Please note that all trails will be used for the race courses and no trails will be open for recreational skiing. Spectators are welcome to come out and cheer for the future of Nordic skiing! These racers are inspiring!

As of this morning, we have been able to open an additional 7 km of trail with natural snow. We are currently open with 10 km of trail.

Both snowshoe trails are open.
