5 Tips to Make Fresh Flowers Last Longer

Did you know a few simple steps can help your fresh flowers stay beautiful for days longer? 🌸

Here are our favorite florist-approved tips:

✂️ Trim the stems
Cut stems at a 45-degree angle before placing them in water.
💧 Use clean water
Change the water every 2-3 days to keep bacteria from building up.
🌿 Remove leaves below the waterline
Leaves sitting in water can cause flowers to wilt faster.
☀️ Keep flowers out of direct sunlight
Fresh flowers prefer a cool spot away from heat and sunny windows.
🥣 Feed your flowers
Use the flower food packet provided with your arrangement whenever possible.
