Hey folks. This Saturday is the first full day of spring. Make plans to come over to the Pickin Parlor and enjoy some good bluegrass music with the Junction 144 Bluegrass band. Check the weather forecast. Lookin good, and nice and warm for a change. Doors open at 5:00 . open Mic till 7:00 when Junction 144 chases everyone off the stage and gets with the program. Hey everyone. I'm cancelling the event for Saturday the 7th because of the predicted snow Friday and the brutal temperatures to follow on Saturday. I hope its not to much of an inconvenience to anyone and want everyone to stay safe. We'll try and do this event on March 21st with the Junction 144 Band. Stay warm everyone. Hopefully March will be a bit more pleasant weather wise.

This Saturday at the Pickin Parlor, it's Ben Tharp and the Shortline Junction Bluegrass Band. Also it would be a good thing to come hungry. We are going to be serving a Christmas feast of honey baked ham with all the fixins. Come on out and enjoy an evening of good bluegrass. The weather forecast is looking good to. I think I'd rather be swatting skeeter bugs than shoveling snow off the walk! But never fear. It's suppose to warm up by the weekend. Just in time for The Open Highway Bluegrass Band at the Pickin Parlor this Saturday, the 15th. Looking forward to having Jim, John, Tyler, and who ever else they have coming.
