With his “unequaled touch, perfectly harmonious phrasing and breathtaking virtuosity” (Le Figaro, Paris), Armenian-born Sergei Babayan commands an enormously wide and eclectic repertoire that spans from Rameau to Ligeti and includes over 50 concerti for piano and orchestra. His engagements and tours have brought him to preeminent international concert venues such as Salle Gaveau in Paris, Wigmore Hall in London, Carnegie Hall in New York, Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Herkulessaal in Munich, Konzerthaus in Berlin, Beethovenhalle in Bonn, and Rudolfinum Hall in Prague, and include regular appearances on two pianos with the great Martha Argerich.

The latest phenomenon of the Russian piano school” (Corriere della Sera, Italy), Alexander Malofeev came to international prominence when, in 2014, he won the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians at age thirteen. His unequalled technical mastery and interpretive maturity far beyond his age have already led to celebrated performances at prestigious venues such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Herkulessaal in Munich, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, and the Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo.

With her busy concertizing and teaching schedule throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, American concert organist Katelyn Emerson is known as both “a star of the first rank and an ambassador for the organ” (Orgue Canada). A PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge in England and recipient of a Master of Arts degree from the Musikhochschule Stuttgart in Germany, she has been a prizewinner of competitions on three continents. Notable performances include venues such as Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles, Hauptkirche St. Petri in Hamburg, Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, and St. Thomas Church Fifth Avenue in New York.

First Prize winner of the 2010 Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Russian-born pianist Yulianna Avdeeva plays with power, conviction, and sensibility, having won over audiences all over the world. “Her pacing is born of intelligent feeling and clarity of thought, and her ability to finesse Chopin’s inner voices puts many to shame” (The Guardian). She is a favorite artist in Europe, with recurring concert engagements at the Warsaw Philharmonic and Rudolfinum in Prague, Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin, Vienna Konzerthaus, and Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, and has also given concerts for Ukrainian Relief including one with legendary German violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter at the Lucerne Chamber Music Festival in Switzerland.

An ardent advocate for contemporary music, he has given celebrated performances of works by Frederic Rzewski, William Bolcom, Marc-André Hamelin, and Alexander Goehr, among others.
