🔺 Meet the Heart & Soul of Old School Bhangra Fresno 💫
With 15+ years of teaching & performing Bhangra, our Founder & Head Coach “BIRPAL SINGH” continues to keep Folk Bhangra alive.
By profession, Birpal is a computer (IT) professional working full time with a reputed food company in California from last 12+ years but Bhangra has always been his true passion. This passion inspired him to begin passing this vibrant Punjabi folk dance to the next generation in the USA after his works hours. He began teaching bhangra classes in his home garage in 2017 & building confidence in children to proudly present their culture to other communities through school performances and cultural events.
Birpal’s journey began in Punjab, where he had the privilege of learning from some of the region’s top Bhangra coaches. , Ustad Raj Kumar, Ustad Gursewak Singh Nagi & Ustad Dilbagh Singh waraich. His dedication to mastering traditional Bhangra led him to compete and perform in numerous youth festivals in Universities and state level Bhangra competitions, gaining invaluable experience and a strong foundation in authentic folk style.
