We are excited to partner up with to help fundraise for as they do tremendous work to educate and advocate for the removal of bombs in Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. During the Vietnam war, the US dropped over 13 million tons of ordinance on Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Laos remains the most bombed country per capita. The lives of children and farmers are still affected to this day due to unexploded ordinance during farming or playing.

This vision board party will be a time for us to use our joy to help fundraise for this cause. We are coming together as a community not to just heal our inner child, but to create change. The scrap package, photo backdrop, and music will be curated with Southeast Asia in mind. We are celebrating the new year in Laos, Cambodia, Burma, and Thailand around this time. A time for renewal and blessing our new year. We invite you to create and manifest.

A portion of the proceeds to this event will be donated to Legacies of War and their mission.

Does this blanket look familiar to you?

This heavy blanket became a staple in many Southeast Asian American homes. It represents a transitional era; from refugee camps to first apartments and first homes in America. In unfamiliar winters, it was more than comfort; it was survival. More than a blanket, it represents warmth, resilience, and the way our parents made home wherever they landed.

“I love you” doesn’t always sound like those three words.

Sometimes it’s cutting fruit and leaving it on the table.
Sometimes it’s making sure you eat enough.
Sometimes it’s worrying you to wear a sweater so you don’t get sick.

Love is often quiet.
It’s in the actions, the care, the reminders, the small sacrifices no one sees.

Not all love is spoken, but it’s always felt. ❤️
