In 2007 – It was donated by the Caglia family and became a registered nonprofit know today as the Warnors Center for the Performing Arts. As mentioned, in the 70’s, the building was destined to be demolished. But that direction was changed because as a kid growing up in Fresno, Frank Caglia’s great memories of the theater moved him not to let that happen. Even more than the building itself, Caglia was impressed by the historic pipe organ housed therein. He was known to say he bought the organ and the building just happened to surround it. When Mr. Caglia purchased the theatre and renamed it to Warnors. That was because of the copyright held by Warner Brothers. Today, the entire facility is all undergoing restoration, repairs and much needed maintenance, and will require detailed renovation to be conducted in the upcoming years. Because of our past and current Board of Directors, we are in good standing as a 501c3 non-profit organization that has relied on fundraisers, donations, grants, volunteers and advisory groups, to help preserve and oversee the repairs to this historical Fresno jewel.
