We have openings this Friday for our one day painting class, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Lots of fun painting and swimming will be happening. Easy to register online. We will have the theme of beach day and surfboards. Please call if you have any questions.

Summertime has always been something that I look forward to. The long sunny days spent creating memories that will last forever. I can still remember the friendships made from so many camps and classes we enjoyed growing up. We have a few spots open for the afternoon camp “The Art of Doodle.” and a few other mini day camps. Did you know 75% of our sensory neurons are visual. Visual thinking is mot just a skill for a select few. We are all born with the ability to think in pictures. We just have to know how to develop this special gift we have all been given. Visual thinking is so much more than just practicing drawing. We have opened up an afternoon camp the week of August 9 the thru the 12th, from 3 to 6 pm. Your children will not want to miss this epic camp of the “Art of Doodle”.

Ask a parent, teacher, or any onlooker who has ever experienced a child who seems to appear inattentive and labeled to have short attention as they have been caught doodling. This is rarely a trial case. Researchers tell us soldiers are most likely trying to make abstract concepts concrete with images, or they might be processing the information they are being given, filling in the gaps of their understanding. Much research has been done over the past few years; we know that doodlers find it easier to recall information. Doodling engages the brain's organizational resources that help us plan, multitask, and concentrate. This simple doodling skill can open our children to a whole new level of confidence while assisting them in learning in anything they set out to do.
