😎Jazzy. 🌱Natural. 🌟Exuberant. 🗽 American. 2025 Grammy award-winner Michelle Cann takes center stage this month performing Gershwin. As we celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and reflect on "America at 250", we are thrilled to premiere a new work by living composer and Fresno favorite John Wineglass - Composer: YOSEMITE. The program features works by Margaret Bonds, one of the first noted African American women composers, George Gershwin, and Stravinsky - who immigrated to the United States in 1939 and whose works touch on larger themes of freedom and equality. We'll be joined by the phenomenal talents of Blackout Fellowship Choir and actor Tony Sanders!
