Yesterday marked a very special milestone for the Bakersville Homecoming Royalty Program as we proudly awarded our FIRST EVER scholarship in honor of Tyler and Alexis Ridenour. Your 2025 Queen Caitlin Swiney and 2023 Queen MileyMiley Sessers scholarship represents more than an award — it represents leadership, kindness, community spirit, and the lasting impact Tyler and Alexis have made on those around them. We are honored to celebrate students who continue to carry those same values forward.

Congratulations to our scholarship recipients! Your hard work, dedication, and character have not gone unnoticed. We are excited to see all the amazing things your future holds.

Today, Bakersville Royalty, in honor of Tyler and Alexis Ridenour (John Ridenour) presented two $500 scholarships to 2023 Queen Miley Sesser and 2025 Queen Caitlin Swiney.
