Last night, our orchestras performed at our Pre-Festival concert for both our parents and judges. We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who showed their support by coming last night, as well as to the band for their amazing performance with our Chamber Orchestra group!

Yesterday, one of our students had the opportunity to perform in this year’s CODA Honors December Orchestra (Strings) at the University of the Pacific in Stockton! Congratulations to our sole representative this year, Kassidi Nguyen (viola)!

And a huge congratulations to everyone who auditioned this year, it takes courage and dedication to prepare and put yourself out there!

This past Monday, our Chamber Orchestra had the honor of performing at the SVARAM Concert, a program founded by senior violinist Matthew Paul. SVARAM was created to give autistic students the opportunity to enjoy live music in a space where they can feel comfortable and welcomed.

We are grateful to guest musician Alex Fisher for his outstanding saxophone solo in Incantations, to Eliana Ta for her beautiful violin solos in Incantations and Remember Me, and to Thi Nguyen for his excellent violin solo performance.

We are honored to have been part of such a meaningful program and remain committed to sharing the joy of music with all members of our community.
