Street lights out on Broadway between Sacramento and Calaveras as reported by Matt Hackney on September 8th via Twitter. City of Fresno saying 2 to 3 month fix per Baines' office. I can have an electrician here tomorrow but the City told me that is not legal. Government at its finest and Mayor Swearengin wants to revitalize Downtown? Continued disconnect between politics and practice.

Mark Castro who occupies Suite 4 is running for Fresno City Council District 2. Mark is the second tenant to run for City Council from our buildin. Coincidentally, Louise Bauer Divoli, who occupied that same suite made a run for Sal Quintero's seat and lost by 52 votes in a run off. Mark we wish you the best of luck. The production of these two candidates is entirely organic, we did nothing other than build a great space to attract great people who want to change Fresno or just run their business from a great space.

For those of you who come by the building from time time, I just wanted to give you a heads up that Brenda Allison, http://www.brendaallison.com/ loaned us some of her modern art for 1724 Broadway. Thanks Brenda it looks great in the space and all pieces are for sale. She will also be showing at KWJL studios in September and paints on commission should you want something special.

The "Painting the Town Red" mural on the south wall was tagged for the first time last night. I'm already working with the police to file a report complete with pictures but it is disheartening to see Samantha Canales' & The Muralistics' art, not to mention, hard work, not respected. Come on underbelly of Fresno, you should be better than this.......
