I’m heading out the door to have Thanksgiving dinner with my good friends Pedro, Gustavo and our families and friends. There’s nothing more New York than celebrating Thanksgiving with artist friends and musicians in a Manhattan loft in a historic building.
Since we are all immigrants, we won’t be eating turkey. Instead, Pedro is preparing a traditional Argentinian dish, locro (ugh). Luckily, there will be a lot of people, so no one will know I am lying when I say I already had two plates.
I didn’t want to let the opportunity slip to thank you for walking this artistic path with me. Your encouragement and belief in handmade craft keep my work alive, and I’m grateful for that every day.
Happy Thanksgiving! And thank you for supporting my work.
