So this announcement is one that makes me super happy and I’ve been impatiently waiting to let the cat out of the bag but after this past Saturday I think it’s out already lol so let’s make it official!!!!!! Since our beginning I have longed for an entertainer that would come along side of us and be hell bent on Southern Styles success. We looked for almost a year for the right candidate. Giving a shot to several people that did their best but something was just missing. We felt it, they felt it, and more importantly yall felt it. I’m happy to say our search is over!!!!!! When the absolute super star that is the one and only Sam Morris walked through our doors to interview for our sound tech opening I dont think either of us realized what was about to happen. We sat and talked like life long friends for a couple of hours. The focus was never about money, or other commitments, or how big of a deal (he) was or is. It was about how much we both want Fremont to benefit from Southern Style and our plans on how we can make that happen. He was super eager to hit the ground running and I’ll say his first show he mixed with the help of Jeff was hands down amazing and one of my favorite shows to date. Spade ♠️ is an amazing entertainer and his energy is contagious. I hope this is just the beginning of a very long journey and I couldn’t be more thrilled to let yall know Sam Morris is officially on the Southern Style team and I know yall will be thrilled. When it comes to incredible bars in Fremont, NE, Southern Style is quickly making a name for itself as one of the premier places in town. I’m very excited to be joining forces with Jason, Brittany, and their amazing team to bring a new level of energy, excitement, and entertainment to Southern Style. As a Fremont native, born and raised, I graduated from Fremont High in 2003 soon after moving to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and competing for the Men’s Husker Track and Field Team. My first band Officially Terminated formed in Fremont which started my 20 plus year career as a touring musician, a career that is still going on to this day. Before I could even legally drink, I joined up with 3D In Your Face, the long-running Omaha, NE hair metal tribute band known throughout the Midwest for its insane over-the-top spectacle of a show. Pushing everything one step further, I helped form The Midnight Devils in 2016 and we released our debut album Something Bigger in 2018. The Midnight Devils launched an all-out party rock n roll assault on all fronts touring across the USA coast to coast, playing legendary venues like The Whiskey A-Go Go and The Viper Room in Hollywood, CA. In 2022, we released the album Never Beg For It and The Midnight Devils made our debut in Europe with performances in Spain, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, and Belgium. On July 5th 2024, So Hard It Hurts, The Midnight Devils third album was release kicking off a huge world tour with a spectacular run through Australia and an unforgettable tour of Japan.
