Have you watched an improv show and thought "that looks fun...I want to do it!" Well, The Playground Improv Jam is the place to DO IT! This is an event where YOU get the chance to jump onstage and be in a show! You'll play fun games and unscripted scenes similar to what you might see on TV's Whose Line Is It, Anyway? The cool thing? Anybody can participate! You don't need experience to do it, because the Playground is a supportive environment, where we leave judgment at the door. All experience levels get to PLAY together! Sundays, September 20th - November 8th (no class on Sept. 27th)
7:30pm - 9:50pm

La Ronde and The Party are two classic longform improv structures centered on two-person scenes with strong characters. In this class, you’ll learn both forms through lots of stage reps. The curriculum is based on a class by Craig Cackowski (who created both structures) and character-focused techniques from Chicago’s Annoyance Theatre. Perfect for improvisers ready to move beyond the montage, as well as experienced players looking to deepen their character work. Plus, you’ll get to showcase what you’ve learned in a performance on the final day.
Prerequisite: Scene Study

LTC is Fremont's longest running weekly comedy show with over 1,000 shows in the books. Every week, the MUT cast makes it all up on the spot in fast-paced games and hilarious skits.
