Obviously there’s more to learning guitar than just these, but if you focus on these first…you’ll accelerate faster than you think!
Something as simple as playing with a metronome can help develop your rhythm + help you lock-in to a song’s tempo when it matters.
Music theory is the most misunderstood and viewed as complicated, so most of my students avoided it before I started coaching them. After a few weeks they started understanding how theory works and how simple it can be.
Scale patterns build muscle memory in your fingers to know what notes are available and down the road will help you improvise and get creative with what you play.
